Different Opportunities for Giving

Volunteers Always Needed

EXPERIENCE the BENEFITS of giving your time…

Volunteering is a great way to share your talents or interests, have fun and help the Dharma center bring benefit to many others. No matter how small the task, no matter your age or skill level, your contribution of time is extremely meaningful and will help to bring classes, teachings, and peace of mind to many people.

Who can volunteer?

Anyone can volunteer. You don’t need a special skill or experience. There are many volunteer positions that can be undertaken by anyone without training, or minimal training. If you do have a special skill, please let us know.

How much time will it take?

It can take as little or as much time as you have. Each and every hour of volunteering counts. Come and speak with us about your schedule and availability or fill out the volunteer form.

What kinds of volunteer opportunities are there?

Our volunteer needs range from distribution of flyers, helping in our bookstore, working at the front desk, food coordination at events,  administration, fixing things to other specific skills such as graphic design, web updates, sound recording and photography, water bowls.

Financial Support Always Needed Too

Become a Sustaining Member

Our mission at Thubten Kunga Ling is to help students achieve their maximum potential for wisdom, happiness, and compassion. The Center is a self-sustaining, non-profit organization and as such, relies entirely on donations and membership support for our existence.

Our monthly operating expenses range between $ 7,000 - $8,000 for items such as rent, electricity, internet, insurance, administrative expenses, resident teacher stipend, and housing.

Sustaining memberships, or monthly giving, provide Thubten Kunga Ling with regular and dependable income, allowing us to budget and plan more effectively to provide the greatest benefit.

Thubten Kunga Ling is a tax-exempt not-for-profit corporation under section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. All of your contributions are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. Also, please check with your employer to see if they have a matching gift program so that your contribution can be matched.
