Tibetan Buddhist Center for Wisdom
Welcome to Thubten Kunga Ling
We are now open for in person meditation and class on Sundays only. We also offer a variety of classes online via Zoom. Please check our calendar for more information or use the links to register for these Zoom classes as registration is required for most classes. The Dharma is always offered free of charge, we never want money to be an obstacle for anyone to attend our teachings. We do, of course, have many expenses to make these courses available, so we gratefully welcome any donations as they allow us to make the Buddha's teachings available to all. All funds received go towards ensuring we are able to keep our physical and virtual door open to all. We genuinely appreciate your generosity and support. Please join our email list, follow us on Facebook and Instagram, or check the calendar for registration information as it becomes available.
Our aspiration is to help students achieve their maximum potential for wisdom, happiness, and compassion. Our programs present Buddhist teachings in an authentic and traditional manner. At the same time, we show how the teachings of the Buddha continue to be effective with the current challenges in our lives today. You can learn more about Buddhism here.
We are affiliated with the Foundation for the Preservation of the Mahayana Tradition (FPMT) founded by Lama Zopa Rinpoche and Lama Thubten Yeshe. Under the spiritual direction of Lama Zopa Rinpoche, the FPMT has been bringing the teachings of the Buddha to the West for several decades and has over 160 centers and charitable projects worldwide. We follow the tradition of His Holiness the Dalai Lama and it is our honor to serve and support his way. For more information about FPMT click here. You may subscribe to FPMT's Monthly Newsletters by clicking here.
